58th National Council Session & 2026 Girl Scout Convention
Information about the 58th NCS and 2026 Girl Scout Convention:
- The 2026 National Council Session, our national business meeting, where delegates from across the Movement debate and act on proposals and elect the National Board.
- A multi-day girl-centered experience where Girl Scouts can connect and participate in awesome activities with friends old and new.
In addition to our convention, 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the founding of the USA. What better place to hold convention than the capital of our nation-a symbolic and literal representation of the people who live in every corner of the United States? Similarly, National Council Session is where delegates representing every corner of the Girl Scout Movement come together to discuss, debate, and make Girl Scout history.
Applying to be a Delegate
Nominations are accepted now through February 20, 2025 to become a National Delegate or Alternate for a three-year term and attend the 58th National Council Session July 20 – 22, 2026 in Washington, DC.
