Girl Scouts in this age group will always remember the cool stuff they learned and the great friends they made, as well as discover what's so important about being a leader, working on a team, and dreaming about their future possibilities.

Girl Scout Silver Award - The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest award Girl Scouts Cadettes can achieve.

Girl Scout Gold Award - The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award that a Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors may earn.

Earned Awards - Check out earned awards for Girl Scouts ages 11-17, such as Interest Projects and STUDIO 2B Charms, on the national Girl Scout website.

Scholarships, Other Awards & Contests - Earn money and prizes for your Girl Scout projects, essay abilities, and other achievements!

Uniforms and Books

Girl Scouts 11-17 can wear the Girl Scout Membership Pin, showing they belong to Girl Scouts of the USA, and the World Trefoil Pin, signifying membership in a worldwide Movement. They can choose from uniform components for Girl Scouts 11-17 and STUDIO 2B T-shirts—or do their own thing. Girls can also buy a sash or vest to display Interest Project Awards and other insignia or purchase a bracelet or charm holder for STUDIO 2B charms. Many resources are available for both advisors and girls, including handbooks, Interest Projects for Girls 11-17, and STUDIO 2B Focus books.

Too Old to Join?

Older Girls

No way! Girls don't have to worry about what they've missed—just look forward to what they can experience as an 11- to 17-year-old in Girl Scouting.

Joining Girls Scouts is simple! Contact the Service Center closest to your location to find out how you can get involved.
