Come to Sandy Ridge and see what camp is all about! We will have an open house on Saturday, May 4 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This event will give the girls and parents a chance to see Sandy Ridge's facilities, meet camp director Chuck Iler, ask questions and register for camp! Camp sessions start June 16, so you'll have plenty of time to get a feel for the site, learn about the camp session offerings and enjoy the scenery!
Check out our camp brochure here.
For questions about camp or the open house, please contact camp director Chuck Iler.
In 1963, the Girl Scout Council of the Pee Dee Area (now the Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina) decided on a site in Marlboro County for its Girl Scout program and training facilities. From 1963 until 1965, 487 acres were purchased with Girl Scout cookie proceeds. Development of the site began in 1966 with the entrance road, dam and conservation lake again purchased with cookie sale proceeds. Today, Sandy Ridge offers outdoor opportunities to more than 10,000 girls.
